Butterfly Outfit

I think this is a very pretty outfit and give it an A+ overall.
The dress seems a nice cut and is made of loveliest rich orangey-red/pink (coral?) broderie anglaise. The jacket is a gorgeous vibrant orange. Both colours go well together and suit Lanie beautifully.
The dress and jacket fit nicely. I love the little dragonfly on the jacket and the monarch butterfly hair clip is so cute. I may steal it for my very own.
I found the shoes a bit disappointing imho in that they are pretty insubstantial and have no fastening, just an elastic strap around the ankle. I guess that is easier for small hands to put on, but these dolls ARE meant to be for ages 8 and up and personally I prefer the little, fiddly, details like buckles that work, that make other AG shoes look like the real McCoy shrunk to fit 18in dolls.
