Garden Outfit

I was so glad to see that AG made Lanie a bucket hat so she can go out in the sun!
This is a rather nice outfit, with the following reservations:
As with the butterfly outfit, I was really disappointed with Lanie's sandals. I feel they look cheap and they don't look like 'real' shoes with the elastic ankle strap and decorative buckle. Heck, it's not even a non functional buckle over a velcro fastening! And who on earth dresses their kids in WHITE to garden in??!
I could see a child wearing something like this, just not to do gardening.
The shorts have elastic around the back of the waist. They fit well enough but I'm afraid Lanie might develop a 'plumber's crack' if she bends or sits down! The fabric is nice, thin enough that I imagine it would be cool to wear, yet Lanie's blue undies don't show through. The embroidery is neatly done... it's okay but I could do without it.
The top is nice fabric too and looks pretty, crisp and cool. The little bracelet is a nice touch. My clumsy fingers have trouble fastening it but I imagine smaller, more nimble fingers would manage fine.
I think I'd rate this a B+. I can't give it an A because those sandals bug me!
