Lanie Doll & Meet Outfit

DD's Lanie arrived last week. Her hair colour is lovely - very much like my eldest daughter's when she was young. I find the eyes more green than hazel, but they're very pretty. I don't like Felicity's vibrant green ones; these are far more natural.
I echo what the others have said about the crazy hair; unlike others, I love the bangs, but it's crazy curly. This doll was purchased for an eight year-old; luckily she has a mother who likes fussing with doll hair. I would not buy this doll for a child and expect her to be able to manage that hair by herself. I end up separating and clipping the top half and then misting and picking the bottom. I then wrap sections around my finger and hold it a few minutes. After the bottom layer is done, I do the top. It looks lovely - until my daughter changes her the first time.
It takes a lot longer to do Lanie's hair than DD's JLY39. The doll is lovely and my daughter loves her, but I wouldn't buy the doll for any child and expect her to cope with that mane!
The hair is also very long - past her waist when straightened. I don't find the wig thin at all; any more hair and it would be a bush!
