Sunday Best Outfits (2004-2005)

These are two of my very favorite Bitty Twin outfits of all time. While the original retail of $44 seems like a lot, when you divide that between two outfits it is easier to take. I was lucky enough to get Outlet versions of mine, which means there are no tights for the girl but we manage without.

I absolutely adore the dress. The modified bateau neckline is slightly questionable for the girl Twin since her neckstrings are set to the side, but we overlook that. It does tend to wrinkle in storage, as shown in these pictures. But it is such a sweet little dress that it's even charming with wrinkles! The details make the dress. We had no problems with fit for our wreath so that issue may vary from set to set.



The boy's outfit is equally darling, if a bit high concept for a preschool boy. I do like my Bitty outfits to resemble things I'd actually put on a small child. And, well, white pants, linen jacket, and green shoes don't quite make that cut. But hey, on a doll, it all works.



I can't give this set anything less than an A, really. It's the perfect spring ensemble for the Twins, and a joy to pull out each season.
