Raincoat & Boots Set + Book (2010-2012)

My daughter got this outfit for Easter and it is very pretty. The boots are the best part - love them. The coat itself fits very snuggly. On her pudgy Lanie, I don't think it would fit over anything but a think dress or t-shirt. It hasn't yet been tried on her trimmer JLY39.
I had trouble attempting the top button in the morning, but either I became more adept after coffee or the fabric stretched slightly on the doll, because I can now close it (barely). I don't think she'd ever do the top button up though; she doesn't like the way it looks all 'chokey' and it's frankly tricky to manage that tiny button up there under the chin (even for me). With the top button undone, it's not an issue at all.
The hat will do great double duty as a summer bucket hat. The blue and green match many of this year fashions (the surf wear I'll get her later this year) and the PWP Spring set, so there's lots of mix and match potential.
