The set is hilarious!! I just love it.
The braces are stickers, I have not opened them yet since this is to be for Christmas.
The headgear has thin velcro to fit across the neck vs the head like a people headgear.
The headgear fits PM dolls

The toothbrush has real bristles. The retainer does not come out of the case, but the case top comes off.
Dolls will not be able to hold the toothbrush without assistance.
I give this set an A. If it had toothpaste, I'd give it an A+++. It is very unique and I could not pass it up esp for under $20.
