While both of my beds are older (purchased in 1989 and around 1993), I have a new one set aside for my daughter. The new one hasn’t been assembled yet, but it appears to be the same size as the older ones. I can measure them or take pictures if it’d be helpful.
The biggest difference between the beds is that the new one is plastic and the older ones are wooden. Even though the newer bed is plastic, it seems like it’ll be more durable than the older wooden ones, which a tendency to wobble and break. However, if your bed is going to be a display piece, you may be happier with the original, wooden bed.
