Work Gown (RETIRED)

This outfit was worn by Felicity in the book Changes for Felicity in the short stories, "Felicity Takes a Dare", "Felicity Discovers a Secret", "Felicity's New Sister", and in the DVD Felicity: An American Girl Adventure. It was released in 1993 and retired in 2003.
PC description: Oh, how Felicity hated to help with housework! But when she did she wore a striped gown of handwoven cotton so she didn't spoil her good clothes. Knot her kerchief around her shoulders, then tie her apron around her waist. And don't forget her mob cap - a must for dusty chores!
The shawl is 16” by 11”. The linen is a little thinner and a little lighter than the cream on the sleeves and neckline of the dress. The fabric is folded-over and sewn along each side. It would be fairly simple to reproduce.
