Tilt-Top Table & Chairs (RETIRED)

I just received my tea table and chhairs, and I'm pleased with them. I on the whole think they are a very versatile set to go with any historical, however, I do not think this set would stand up to play of little girls nowadays- though they are made quite sturdily. I love how the table tilts, and looks with its tea set and the treats on it. The finish is lovely, but I would caution against throwing out the styrofoam forms the items came in- especiallly if you need to ship it or need to store it- I saved mine though I had to use the box the items came in for something else. I plan tokeep my tea table and chairs in the dining room on my server, as the tea scene is wondefful to look at- however I would not give this item to a child below the ageof 10 or 11.I give it an A on appearance, but a C for playability for a child.
