I got mine on sale from cyber monday for $15... At least for that price, it's definitely worth it. The pieces will be great for mix and match, and they all look real and well designed. The jacket, especially, seems like something girls would really wear. It is annoying that it didn't come with a shirt underneath, but for the sale price, I'm not gonna gripe about it. If I paid full price, then maybe it would seem like more of a problem.
The hat is a nice material, and big enough to go on easily and stay on. My doll is a bit floppy but she still managed to stand in the shoes, which have straps that hold them onto their feet.
I love all the textures in the outfit-- courderoy, wool, embroidery, the heavy-but-soft pants, the rubbery, nubbly shoe soles, and the velvety band that holds them on. I like the colors all together, personally, though someone was complaining about it.
The pants are a little bit tight, but not enough to be a problem. I think it's because they used some pretty ferocious elastic in the back, that doesn't want to stay stretched out. Besides the waist, I like the pants a lot. They seem like they'll be useful. They were tighter on one doll that tried them than the other, so I guess it also depends on your doll, as well as the elastic.
Hate the book it comes with, though. I'm getting rid of it, no need to have it taking up space. It's titled "petty cash." Something AG might say...
overall, nothing extraordinary given what I expect from AG, but no real problems, either. Since I paid $15 I'm not bothered about the lack of shirt but had I paid full price it would be a problem for me. grade: somewhere between A and B- depending on how much you pay/how it fits your doll.
