Lanie Doll & Meet Outfit

I received my Lanie (who has been recharacterized and named Melanie) on Christmas day, 2010. I was very pleased with her from the moment I saw her in her box. I have wanted this girl since the day of her release, and I was far from disappointed.

Her wig: This is what made me want her. Her wig is very thick and volumous; her curls are extremely defined. Admittedly, I rarely touch her hair because I'm afraid I'll loosen the curl- though I doubt I will. As I said before, they are very defined. The side bangs are much nicer and much more realistic in person. Grade: A+
Her meet outfit: I personally don't like it, but that won't affect my review. The dress is made of a thick cotton. That's really all I have to say; the quality is great. It fits nicely, etc. The headband is felt-like and rather chintzy. The shoes are my favorite part of the outfit; they're cute, well-made, sturdy. Grade: A (because of the headband)

They look different enough for me to own both, but similar enough to be twins if that's what you wanted them to be.
