I picked this up for Rebecca last week. The heeled shoes definitely concerned me. I don't like the idea of a little girl in heels, though I admit that I enjoyed the historical accuracy. Heeled shoes much like Rebecca's started to become quite popular & fashionable in the 1910s, due in part to the popularity of the tango.
The dress is indeed a little bit see-through. If the dress were lined, or if AG produced historically accurate undergarments (like an undershirt) for Rebecca, this would be less of an issue. But my bigger concern is that all the white eyelet lace & pink satin bows cause the dress to have a "First Communion" kind of look, which is so incredibly inappropriate for Rebecca's Jewish background. Rebecca looks beautiful in the dress--the white & pink are gorgeous with her coloring. But I am a bit sick of all of her dresses featuring drop-waists, & I really wish someone in AG development would have thought about the First Communion issue.
