#15 is an incredibly lovely and unique doll. I was so happy to finally find one for my very own!
I insta-bonded with Leslie as soon as I took her hair out of its funny looking braid and parted it to the sides. I love that you can part her hair any way you want, because I wanted a doll with a center part, and even though AG offers very few of those, I was able to make my own! : )
Her skin tone is barely darker than the light skin tone, in my opinion anyway. I mean, she's clearly darker, but not by much. Her hair is huge and amazing. I just haven't had the heart to leave it in any up-do for very long because it's just so gorgeous left down. It's pretty sad that Addy is the only doll still available with textured hair, and that she's likely to be archived as soon as they release a new African American historical, because the hair is really different and fun to work with....I'll be sad to see it gone for good.
