This outfit is worn by Josefina in the short story "Thanks to Josefina". Released in 2003 for $24, retired in 2006.
Josefina wears her flowered skirt, woven striped sash, and embroidered camisa to weave blankets with her sisters. Add her rebozo to keep her warm when she goes out to gather roots and berries for dyes.
This outfit is a must have for Josefina fans. The mulberry color compliments Josefina's skin tone nicely. The camisa is made from lightweight cotton and simply embroidered on top. The skirt is heavy, textured material on the bottom and matches the camisa on top. The sash is woven and fits skinnier Josefinas. The rebozo is plain, printed cotton and could be a little more detailed but is still very pretty. Grade:
