Josefina is a beautiful doll with great stories to build her character. My current doll is a Mattel doll, purchased at the MCM sale in 2007. She has the higher eyebrows and what I believe to be a more narrow face than the PM version. The Pleasant Company version has lower brows and long lashes. I feel she has a more mature look than the Mattel version, yet the Mattel version has a youthful hopeful look that may be more accurate to her character. You can judge the possible difference in face mold yourself.

With a lovely, accurate skintone, long smooth hair, and a unique character, I give this doll an A.
