This outfit was worn by Josefina in the book Happy Birthday, Josefina!. Released in 1998 for $12, retired in 2018.
Drape the embroidered gold shawl, or mantón, around Josefina’s shoulders and slip the delicate black fan into her hand. Both were treasures of Mamá’s that Josefina and her sisters saved for special days. Fasten the elegant choker around her neck as a final fashionable flourish.

So PRETTY! This set just puts a smile on my face. I love the golden yellow color of the shawl, and the brightly colored
embroidered floral motif.Long pretty fringe completes the shawl.
The fan is black lace attached to a plastic fan. It has a
long black tassle than hangs from the handle.
The pendant is a small gold colored charm hanging from a piece of black satin
cording. It looks lovely on Josefina.
This set is one of my favorites. In my opinion, is very reasonably priced considering
all of the little lovelies you get.
