Felicity Doll - Mattel (Version I)

Version I of Mattel Felicity, wearing the 'Rose Garden Gown', was produced from Mattel's acquisition of Pleasant Company in 1998 until 2005, when she was revamped (and then started wearing the 'Traveling Gown' Meet Outfit).
Doll-Mattel

Mattel Felicitys are quite different from Pre-Mattel Felicitys. Their hair color is more of an auburn than a true red, at least my daughter is. She was purchased in 2004. Her eyes are the same "spoke" version found in the Pre-Mattel versions, but her face is smaller and less round than the Pre-Mattels. Also, her face colorings seems to be a shade darker than the Pre-Mattel Felicitys. Her meet dress in 2004 was the rose dress. It differs from the Pre-Mattel version in that the roses are smaller and they appear sharper on the fabric. Felicity's current meet dress is the old Lilac Traveling Gown. Still a gorgeous doll and well made.
