Tea Lesson Gown (RETIRED)

This outfit is worn by Felicity in the DVD Felicity: An American Girl Adventure. It was released in 2005 at the Tea Lesson gown and was later called the Tea Lesson Gown & Straw Hat, then retired at Felicity's archival in 2010.

I really love this shade of yellow, it isn't too bright and pastel-ish, but its not too dark either. The coral pink details accent the yellow very nicely. The dress is actually two shades of yellow, a darker yellow backdrop with lighter yellow stripes. The straw hat is very cute, although I feel its a little "too frilly". I don't like the slippers all that much, it just made the whole outfit "too matchy", I think slippers in a neutral tan almost yellow would have looked nice and instead of rosettes on them, a brocade design in a stitch that slightly contrasts the slippers would have looked lovely. The slippers do stay on well enough, they're not just soft cloth, they are a bit stiff since they don't have backs to them.
