I must say, this piece is cute and sturdy but also very large. I got mine premattel and over time not all of it has held up the best. The wood has a covering that is the "finish" and along the base of the legs it has started to peel up. Not the best look 
However I love that the screws have a little decoration that covers them so you cannot see them. If you have the room for it I would definitely say go for it. I keep the bed in the basement where it is suseptible to more changes in temperature and humidity (and who knows what else) I am fairly certain that the peeling wood was most likely just in my case but I wanted to point it out anyways.
