AG description: Felicity and Elizabeth look as elegant as can be when they ride together in this wooden carriage with velvet tie-back curtains and a quilted bench. Fabric roof lifts off for easy seating. Slip the bridle over your horse's head, attach the reins and carriage poles, and off they go! W:21", H: 24", D: 28"
The carriage looks very nice set up, but the sheer size of it is overwhelming! The carraige is made of a cheap pressboard painted wood; which is okay with me, because if the quality of the wood was any better, you wouldn't be able to lift it, LOL! You have to assemble the wheels onto the carraige (very easy). The wheels are plastic (kinda a bummer), and the lanterns that snap onto the front are also plastic. I think the top to the carraige is a thin piece of cloth, but I didn't take it out. It is somewhat dissapointing that there is no door on the sides like a real carriage would have; instead, the dolls are placed in from the top. I have only had it out once briefly, and did not set dolls in it, so I can't comment how they fit, and I did not attach a horse. I think this set would be gorgeous to take out once a year, say at Christmas or Easter, but unless you have an enormous playroom or display room, you wouldn't want it out all the time. I will try to add pics and dimensions the next time it is out. HTH! Dani
