As far as I can tell, Felicity's bed and bedding are identical to period beds and bedding. The only thing different is that in those days, people slept sitting upright because they felt it was better for their health. Prop Felicity's pillow against the headboard and this would look exactly like colonials beds I have seen in historic house museums.
