Here are pics of 2 brand new Mattel Addy's so you can see how they vary from batch to batch:
The Addy on the left has a wider face near the temple area, across the bridge of her nose is narrower, and her jawline is thinner. The Addy on the right has a richer skintone and fuller jawline. Both of these dolls were purchased in December 2007 and have American Girl LLC. stamped on their necks.
Mattel Addy is less plump than PM Addy. Her skintone is more of a rich, warm brown. PM Addy has a reddish/rosy skintone and a plumper body with squishy vinyl. Both dolls are equally beautiful in their own ways.
Grade: A+
