Party Treats (retired)

Some of my set is tagged PC which is a nice plus. The pie plate is real metal and heavy. I was very impressed with it. The pie server is also metal and very nice. The cherry pie is cute. It comes with two slices cut out (why only two?) but when you put the slices back, they don't match up to the pie. I think the whole pie should have been cut. The tiny scoops of ice cream are really cute. They don't really look much like ice cream, though they are detailed. The glass bottle is awesome. It's real glass and it's NOT the same as Molly's. It doesn't have the Pleasantry Fresh farms on it and I think the glass is heavier. The flowers are cute like all other historical flowers. They don't fit in the glass bottle nicely because the stems aren't long enough to go all the way in the bottle, so they sort of balance on top, but it doesn't look bad. The paper lantern is fragile and the stick is too long for Addy but it makes a nice table decoration. The banner is made from cloth and would look cute hanging on a wall. I didn't think this set was worth the full price at the time but in hindsight, if I had known what was coming, I would have gladly paid full price for this set. As it was, I used a coupon from one of the DVDs and got it at a price I was comfortable with.

Grade: A- for the pie not being sliced all the way and looking kind of fake.
