Released in 1994, retired in 2006. Later replaced with the Crinoline & Chemise set.
Getting dressed was quite a chore with underwear as elaborate as Addy’s! Help her into the hoped skirt called a crinoline that gives her dresses their fashionable flair. Then add a white chemise and a ruffled red petticoat for even more fullness.
Addy's undies set includes a cotton undershirt, a turkey red petticoat and a crinoline hoop. The cotton chemise goes down almost to her knees and has a cute little (faux) button over the velcro closure. The crinoline hoop has Pleasant Patterns Company printed on it. My Addy's crinoline bunches up and doesn't hang the way it should but it helps her skirts poof out. The turkey red petticoat is really cute and helps poof out her skirts when the crinoline doesn't fit. The color is one that was so popular in Addy's day.
The set is cute and well-made and worth it to give Addy's skirts that classic Civil War look.
