I just received the Undies via ebay and have mixed emotions about them. The little cage hoop is adorable, though extremely wide. While I haven't made a dress for my doll (I plan on using them for programming and will be making more adult style dress for Civie who is a BATTAT doll) I think it maybe too large for the doll but will know better when I finish her first dress. B+ The chemise is too short. It hits my Civie just above the knee and most Civil War era chemises are knee length or longer. The style is also a bit off. I have found that my PM Felicity shift actually has a more authentic style than the chemise included. This shouldn't bother the average collector, but for me I will probably use the shift because it is more historically accurate. C+ The petticoat. I LOVE THE PETTICOAT! It is, perhaps, my favorite part of the underpinnings! The turkey red color is fun and the style is very nice. I have found that it is just a tad shorter than the bottom of the cage, but if Civie wears the petti below what should be her natural waist it works well. A- I think a little corset would have been a fun addition, as would a pair of drawers, but all in all the set is wonderful. The image below is Civie wearing the outfit with Felicity's stays.
