This outfit is worn by Addy in the book Changes for Addy. Released in 1994, retired in 2015.
Addy’s winter coat of forest green wool is trimmed with plaid flannel at the cuffs, and closes with shiny black buttons. A fringed plaid scarf is sewn right to the front of the coat, a style that was popular in 1864.
Addy's winter coat is made from thin wool and is not lined. It is a nice green color with a faux scarf stitched on to the coat. The scarf has little fringes that hang off it. The coat closes with real buttons which are very tiny and can come off and get lost easily. The coat is very pretty and the trim is also lovely. After trying this coat out in the snow, I can say that since it is wool, it repels snow very well and is warmer than it looks.
