This set is great because it is really detailed and has wonderful play value, however, it is very fragile and should be handled and stored with care. My fishing pole is made from very thin and flimsy wood. It comes in two pieces with a metal slot to stick the two pieces inside each other. It doesn't stay together very well and falls apart easily. I put a tiny clear elastic band around it to hold the two ends together. The tip of the fishhook has broken off and the string is knotted and tangled. (I wasn't rough on the set and keep it stored inside Kirsten's trunk). The fish, frogs and bugs feel rubbery and gross feeling. They are creepy. The little bait basket is made from wicker and the handle broke off. The cloth liner has a drawstring, which came loose over time. The fish basket is heavier wicker and much higher quality than the bait basket.
I really love setting up Kirsten with this set despite the fragile nature.
I'd have to grade it an A- because of all the issues I had with it.
