I am sooooooo glad I was given this before it totally disappeared! I love it! Originally it was sold in a set with her stereoscope. Mine was bought when it was sold separately. It really is a pretty accessory to have for Samantha! It is surprisingly tall so I am not quite sure how to scale it really is. But I love it and it's ruffles and fine detailing. Here you can see how tall it is when collapsed.
The parasol is covered with ruffles and has a large silver ring at the handle to hold it all up. I'm not real sure how she is suppose to hold it so I wedged her hand in there and it held it just fine. each tip to the spokes in the parasol have little ball ends so you don't have your kiddo dealing with sharp pointy things.
