Travel Accessories (RETIRED)

This set was released in 2002 and retired in 2004. After retirement, the stereoscope and its pictures were sold as a separate item; additional reviews of that can be found HERE. The parasol was added to Samantha's Travel Duster & Hat, reviewed HERE. The brush and mirror became part of Samantha's Bridesmaid Accessories, reviewed HERE.

Samantha’s diversions on the ship are a stereoscope and pictures. She has a parasol to shade her skin plus a brush and mirror.


Samantha bought this set when we went to AGP Chicago. It came with the parasol, a little hair brush, a little mirror and a stereoscope. Johanna already reviewed the parasol but I will add that it it too big to be for Samantha and it's too heavy for her to hold. The hair brush and mirror set are too small for Samantha and I say they are doll sized for Samantha's doll! They are made from shiny plastic and not very high quality. They feel cheap and were rather disapointing. The stereoscope is amazing. It's real wood and metal and comes with heavy duty cardboard cards to put in the stereoscope for Sam to look at.
