This set was released in 1988 and retired in 2007.
Samantha's underthings are really too pretty to hide under her dresses. Her underwaist with pink ribbon and lace has elastic garters to hold up her white stockings. It buttons to a full petticoat that's trimmed with lace and ribbons, too.

It's all in the details! the underwaist is full of them along with the rest of the set. it is trimmed with ribbon and lace.
It comes to her waist and then buttons in the front to her petticoat with two small white buttons.
Her petticoat has growth tucks to lengthenn as she gets bigger. It is also finished with more of the same lace and ribbon trimmings.
Lastly there are four pieces of elastic with clips and buttons attached to the bottom edge of her underwaist. These go under the petticoat and are used to clip and hold up her saggy tights. You put the button on the inside of the tights and then push the thin tights and button through the opening of her clip.
The underware came with her meet outfit.
