This outfit was worn by Nellie in the DVD Samantha: An American Girl Holiday. It was released in 2004 and retired with archival in 2008.
Nellie looks lovely in the latest turn-of-the-century styles. This drop-waist pleated dress has lace trim, a velveteen sash, and a matching hairbow. Comes with tights and shiny black shoes with gold buckle detail. Perfect for holiday parties!
Grade: B+
Reivew: I loved the plaid color and the contrast between the white fabric on the collar and red in the sash. My one pet peeve(actually two) are the shoes(recycled Felicity shoes) and the hair bow. Please! a red little hairbow on a scrunchy,it dosen't go well with Nellie's semi short hair.
I did enjoy the tradeing card with info about the dress etc,nice touch.
