*Kit wore this outfit in Meet Kit and in the DVD Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. She wore the skirt in the short story "Kit's Winning Ways. The Sweater is also shown in Happy Birthday, Kit!* Released at Kit's debut in 2000, retired with BeForever rebranding in Fall 2014, reemerged with Kit's Birthday Collection doll in April 2023.

This set includes a shortsleeved sweater with a matching long sleeved button up sweater, a lovely feedsack print pleated skirt, her white cotton undies, and her cream colored canvas sandals.
I think Kit has the prettiest meet outfit of them all. I love the sweater set, it is so pretty and really well made. The short sleeved sweater fastens in the back with metal snaps, so there is no velcro to damage the sweater.The top sweater has sweet little buttons down the front.This sweater set is a lovely shade of lavender.
The skirt is terrific.I love the print on the fabric. It is much prettier in person than it appears in the pictures.
The little panties are really cute, they have gathered leg openings.
The canvas sandals are really sweet, and the would work well with almost any of Kit's outfits.
I give this set an A+
