Day Bed (retired)

Kit's Day Bed was an original part of Kit's Collection, making its debut in 2000. It was originally paired (but sold separately from) the Tufted Bedding Set and then the Quilt & Pillow. In 2008, it was combined with the Quilt & Pillow and sold as Kit's Bed & Quilt Set. That set was retired in 2015, and a modified version called Kit's Bed & Bedding was released in 2015 under the BeForever branding. (The Bed & Bedding set retired in 2019.)

Kit’s bed makes a great place to read by day—and it folds out into a double bed so two dolls can sleep side by side! The green painted frame holds a soft mattress and pillow.

This set includes the bed, mattress and pillow.

I purchased Kit's bed only from Ebay and it did not come with the mattress or pillow, so I made one.My review will be of the metal bed it's self.

I am very, very impressed with Kit's beautiful green bed. It is very heavy and sturdy. The bed is a bright, beautiful shade of green. The color is a little brighter than I expected based on the photos I have seen.My Grandma still sleeps on her bed from the late 20's-early 30's that looks almost identical to Kit's,but is a very slightly different green color.

I really love the decals on the headboard and footboard. Though not the same flowers, it reminds me of a green lamp my Grandma has from the 1930's that has a floral design painted on it.So many of Kit's things can be found in my Grandma's house.

I love the way the bed can fold out to be large enough for two dolls. It is easy to fold out.I really love everything about this darling little bed.

A+ because it is just so pretty!
