*Kit's Birthday Dress and Headband was introduced in 2001 and retired in 2015. It was rereleased as Kit's Birthday Outfit in April 2023 under the branding of Kit's Birthday Collection. This version sold out in November 2023. Kit wore this outfit in the books Happy Birthday Kit and Changes for Kit as well as the short story "Kit's Home Run" and the DVD Kit Kittredge: An American Girl.*

I love this outfit. It is my very favorite outfit from AG. It looks just right on Kit. The color is great, the print is pretty and the fit is perfect. I could not be happier. I love the dark green piping, the belted waist and the teeny tiny little buttons. The headband matches the piping on the dress.It looks very pretty tied on Kit's sweet little head.
A+ for perfection.
