Released in 2000, retired in 2012.
Kit can read her favorite book, Robin Hood and His Adventures, by the light of her gooseneck lamp. It really works! Her candlestick phone was already old-fashioned in Kit’s time — most phones had dials by the 1930s.
Kit’s Nighttime Necessities $19 QDA
This set includes Kit's bedside gooseneck lamp, her candlestick telephone and a copy of her favorite book "Robin Hood".
Grade: A+ This is a very neat little set. I really like the candlestick phone, even thought it is hard plastic. It is easy for me to think of it as Bakelite. The clip that holds the speaker is metal. This is a really fun little play piece.
The gooseneck lamp really works! The top part that holds the light is metal and the "neck" is too, I believe. I think the base is plastic but it looks so real you would never notice. It is speckled with green paint. It may be my eyes playing tricks on me, but I almost think the lamp it's self is very, very dark green instead of black as it appears in the photos.
The Robin Hood book is a nice, thick hardcover book. As with all AG mini books, it is readable if you have really good eyes.
This great set gets an A+ in my book.
