Kit’s crocheted hat is called a cloche, which is the French word for bell. Her straw purse holds a printed hankie and a reproduction buffalo nickel. Her necklace is styled after a compass inside a ship’s wheel—to help her find her way through hard times!

This set includes Kit’s crocheted cloche hat, straw purse printed hankie, reproduction buffalo nickel and compass necklace. Grade A+ I love this set and consider it an absolute must have. The items were not dominate in her stories, but even so, they make lovely additions to Kit's meet outfit. The little hat is just darling! I love the shade of green used for the ribbon. It is a beautiful yellow-green that always makes me think of Spring time. The hat looks very sweet on Kit's head, especially with her short hair. (I will add pictures of this later.) The straw purse is really very pretty and nicely detailed. The printed hankie is plain, but cute. The compass necklace looks terrific with Kit's meet outfit. The Buffalo Nickle seems too large to me, and I do not like that it has the word "COPY" stamped on one side.It is still pretty cute. A+
