I got this set at AGP and I am glad I coded it because it's not really worth full price. The case is made from pleather (plastic leather wannabe) like Sam's valise. It closes with a magnet and mine closes just fine. The camera itself was nearly impossible to open! I finally figured out that I had to pull out the little Kodak lever and then open it. If I had difficulty, I can't imagine a child doing it, even an 8+ child. It is indeed very fragile and not for young fans. I love the little number on the back indicating what picture you are on. I also love the amazing details on the Kodak film box: it says to develop before October 1934! Oops I guess Molly is ten years late getting Dad's film developed! The photo album looks just like ones I have seen from the 30s-60s. The little sticker pictures are really cute but very specific to the Depression and Kit's story. I'll have to make up something about why Molly has those pictures in her album. Maybe they were Dad's when he was younger. I wish the pictures had black corners like real photo albums of the time.
