These shoes are associated with the book, Molly Saves the Day, where they are paired with the Camp Gowonagin Uniform. They were introduced in 1987m and the price was increased from $8 to $12 in January 2012. They were retired when Molly's collection was archived in December 2013.

I got Molly's saddle shoes from ebay in a lot with her camp outfit. I'm not sure what year they're from. They're long and narrow and not very flexible but they fit just fine. They're actually a little big. The soles are hard plastic with a little heel. The shoe laces are REALLY long. On the inside, the glue shows a little on the sole. The soles have a tendency to come unglued and fall off. They're not bad shoes but they're not great.
