Elizabeth Doll & Meet Dress

I love my Elizabeth! I have had her since early October 2010. She is my very first best friend doll. My goodness, she is gorgeous! I absolutely LOVE her pincurls and I am taking exceedingly good care not to brush them out like I did by accident with my poor Felicity in 2005. 
I too think she looks best in modern clothes. I really like her meet dress as well. I don't understand why AG made it look so like Felicity's Christmas gown... Oh well! I do have a question regarding the "green ear" problem. My Elizabeth did not have that problem when I opened her and now after reading this post, I checked her ears and they are, in fact green around the earholes. I was just wondering if this was a factory defect, and if it will spread. I'd advise anyone who is reading this now to take the advice of the reviewers before me and try putting the clear nail polish on the studs to avoid this problem. Its too late for my Elizabeth, I'm afraid
