Kaya is a great doll for collectors not so much for children. If you take her hair out of her braids you'll have a real workout getting them back in and they will NEVER look the same. I don't like the newer Kaya doll as much, her face looks much more somber and not stoic like it should. She looked much more authentic when I first bought her in 2002. I do love her outfit though its very real looking and accurate. I am impressed AMG pulled off making an authentic Native American Doll without offending anyone.
