Your Molly doll has soft gray eyes that wink and blink behind her shiny glasses. All American Girl dolls are keepsake quality, designed to last through hundreds of hugs and years of play. they're 18 inches tall and have soft bodies with arms and legs you can pose. Their sparkly eyes open and close, and their thick, beautiful hair is fun to brush and style.
:-*I LOVE my Molly. I got her in 2001, which means she would have to be Mattel(right?). I've always considered her Mattel. So I guess that's what I'll go with. It's probably just the wear on her that makes her look older. I've never seen a PM doll in person, so I really can't compare. But it doesn't really matter, I love her just the same!
I think she is the sweetest dolly ever, but my opinion is biased. She has medium brown hair(way lighter than Laura). Her eyes are very light blue with just a hint of grey, I noticed they looked lighter than the eyes of PM dolls. Molly's hair is quite thin and dry on the ends, and her skin is dark from all the years of play. But I would never trade her for another doll, IMO she is the prettiest Molly in the world.
