The cover on Molly's bed does go over her body when she is prone. Like all of the AG historical beds, this one does not come with linens...and they are definitely missed. I also think the bed is overpriced, especially the newer version (we have an older version). I would pay no more than half of the current AG retail. For its simplicity and lack of linens, it gets a B from me. I added linens and we like it much better this way:
