Addy is an absolutely gorgeous doll. Her hair although frizzy is amazing and fun to style. Her outfits are incredibly realistic and her background story is heartening. I have long heard the complaints that the only African American historical character should not be a run-away slave, however the under ground rail road is paramount to black history and Addy exemplifies that. Addy was the third doll I ever received way back in 1997, however she remains one of my favorites and has since been replaced after years of play so that I can keep her BNIB for my collection.
