I love the tent!
When my daughter saw this in NYC for her birthday, she REALLY wanted it- but funds were tight.
I've been socking away for it and it came very recently. I am not taking it out for her until school ends and her girls (Molly & Em; Kaya- plus two non AG friends) can start summer camp. Divajayne went to overnight church camp for a week last year and LOVES it- so I think it will be a good fit for her.
In the meantime, I am making 5 Camp Gowonagin uniforms (red shorts from an easy McCall pattern, short sleeve blouses from a modified Morrissey pattern, and bandanas- well, just making them) and pulling together inexpensive shoes for her gang. I am infamous for setting up tableaus in her room of the gang in newly sewn outfits for holidays, birthdays, whatever. (I think the best was when I put them all in "work clothes" and gave them small brooms- with a note that said- help us clean the room!)
I have roughtly two months to get things ready to have it set up for her when she comes home on the last day of school.
