Christmas Gown & Stomacher (RETIRED)

I just got the dress and regular lace stomacher on eBay, no extras. First of all, I'm disappointed that they used velcro for the last of these dresses instead of more sensible snaps. I also agree that the fabric is awful. It feels more like a bright blue parachute than a ball gown!
On the other hand, the color looks gorgeous on my PM/transitional Felicity, and it's still such a pretty dress, it was worth getting. (Especially since I doubt I could learn to sew well enough to make this pattern anytime soon!) I could probably figure out how to make her a lace cap, and if her mother can improvise a necklace in the book...well, so can I.
