I won this book in an auction on ebay and it arrived today. I love it. It has to be one of the cutest book I have ever seen. You can feed baby a bottle, pat its back (burp), watch it kick its feet in the bathtub, powder its bottom, dress it, put it to bed, and play peek a boo. The book is well made in my opinion. The one I have has some lose tabs and the heart no longer plays music but for its age it is just perfect. It is beautifully illustrated and very interactive.
I was told there are three versions of the book - caucasion (white), african american (black), and asian. From what I understand Pleasant T. Rowland wrote this book to help a new sibling learn to care for a new baby and that it was intended to be the center of the Our New Baby Collection. I just love it and would give it an A rating!
