The Our New Baby meet sleeper is white cotton fabric with an even pink and blue heart pattern. Each heart has a stem in the opposite colour, as if it was a cherry.
Unlike the Bitty Baby sleepers, the Our New Baby sleeper does not have attached feet. The ribbed cuffs around the ankles are about an inch wide; the wrist cuffs are narrower. The sleeper zippers up the front. There is lace with a garland pattern around the neck. The collar has a tab above the top of the zipper with a blue stitched-on bow.
The sleeper originally came with the Our New Baby dolls, with a matching wrap undershirt with snaps and a white flannel diaper. The diapers that came with the Our New Baby dolls are essentially the same as the ones that are available now. I do not have the undershirt; it seems to be uncommon to find it on eBay.
I don't have an Our New Baby or pre-Mattel Bitty Baby to try this outfit on, but it fits my Mattel Bitty quite well.
If my memory serves me correctly, this outfit is somewhat prone to staining and discolouration.
It is the easiest of the meet sleepers to put on the dolls, which I think makes it well-suited to children in the 3-5 range. Unfortunately, the current eBay rates might be prohibitive to adding this item to a child's collection.
