Periwinkle Dress

Got this used today for my daughter. She is a perfect size 8, and this dress is marked an 8. But no...she won't be wearing this until next summer because it is cut very generously.
The dress itself is just lovely and is a twin of the doll dress that was available from 2000-2003. It consists of a white polyester under-dress with a sheer periwinkle print overlay that to my mind is vaguely Japanese in its subtlety. The skirt should hit at about mid-calf. The dress zips up the back and has small ties at mid-back. It is labeled as machine washable in cold water, low tumble dry.
DD loves it, and was sad when I said it would have to go in the closet for a little while.
I give it an A. Missing an A+ for the sizing issue.
