I gave this one a C. The straw hat review is in a thread all it's own.
The shirt is a long sleeved back velcro closure. Pale shade of green with ivory patches on the shoulders-front of shirt only. The ivory patches have a pink flower pattern to them. This same ivory flower material caps the end of the sleeves. Elastic at the ends causes the sleeve to drop into a bell shape. The end of the sleeve isn't hemmed. It looks as if someone just cut of the material and moved on to something else.
The center of the shirt has an iron on or sticker of a girl riding a horse. The girl's lasso is actually stitched into the shirt. There are 5 copper studs glued on to either side of the girl to form a circle. Too bad those couldn't have been put on with a much more permanent means.
The bright pink trousers have a corduroy look to them but they are very lightweight. There is a western style button on the front where the velcro closure is. The pants are hemmed and stitched in a gold thread around the pockets, functional belt loops, and trouser legs. There are copper studs down each of the pant legs only on the front. Glued again, not attached in a better manner.
The chaps are bumless. Made of a flimsy faux suede material with velcro back closure and velcro closure around the trouser legs. The embroidery is pretty and the hanging fringe is a cute touch. The silver belt buckle is for show not function.
Her riding bag is cute. Canvas with her name and the horseshoe ironed on. The bag drawstring is dark brown and braided like boot strings.
The cowboy boots are a strange purple. They don't match anything. I don't know why they didn't give her a dark brown pair or something to match the brown on the chaps. They have back velcro closure and are very thin. No lining on the inside at all. Snakeskin pattern at the top, embroidered in the middle and more snakeskin at the bottom. Small heel. Not sure how she'll do standing in them yet.
This seemed very thin quality wise and the color choices disappointed me. I gave it all a C.
