I just picked up Addy's trunk from an antique store. It has some wear, so I paid considerably less than retail. While I was cleaning it up I noticed the divider in the bottom of the trunk slides in and out. So you could leave it in and have the two divided sections or take it out and it opens up the bottom for storage like Josefina's. I didn't see this mentioned in the review section. I know it is Pleasant Company because it is hinged and it has a Pleasant Compay sticker on the bottom of the tray. It doesn't have a metal plaque on the back of the lid. Do all of the trunks do this? That looks original to me. In the bottom of my new one that I just got yesterday, the newsprint is two separate pieces. One for each side. Yours being one large piece tells me it is meant to have the separating wood optional.
